THE RIGHT STUFF
I HATE TO SAY "I TOLD YOU SO!" ACTUALLY, THAT WOULD BE TELLING A FIB. I'M PROUD TO SAY "I TOLD YOU SO!"
THERE IS NO STIGMA IN THE PUBLISHING WORLD AMONG POD BOOKS. NOT IF YOU HAVE AN OUTGOING, BRILLIANT AUTHOR WHO IS ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT SHOWING OFF HER WORK.
WRITING A BOOK IS THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF A LIFETIME. BUT WHEN SOMEONE ACCOMPLISHES THIS AT THE AGE OF 12, LIKE NICOLE IZMAYLOV, IT SHOULD INSPIRE OTHERS THAT IT CAN BE DONE.
SO WHAT IS THE RIGHT STUFF? THE RIGHT STUFF IS POSITIVE THINKING IN SPITE OF BEING TOLD CONSTANTLY THAT IT CANNOT BE DONE. FAITH. THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT.
IN THIS CASE, IT WAS ALSO ABOUT HELPING OTHERS. NICOLE'S BOOKS WERE SOLD AND THE PROCEEDS GIVEN TO LILY'S RUN TO HELP A CANCER PATIENT.
NICOLE IZMAYLOV HAS NEWSPAPER (NORTHSIDE WOMENAND ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION) AND TV EXPOSURE AS WELL AS BOOK SIGNINGS IN THE LIBRARY.
MICHELLE, NICOLE'S OLDER SISTER, IS A TRANSLATOR FOR A RUSSIAN MAGAZINE WHICH ALSO PUBLISHED THE STORY OF NICOLE'S SUCCESS ON HER FIRST BOOK.
NICOLE WON NATIONAL COMPETITIONS FOR HER WRITING AND POETRY.
THE WHOLE FAMILY WORKED TOGETHER EVERY STEP OF THE WAY TO MAKE IT ALL HAPPEN.
AND IT'S JUST BEGINNING! WATCH THIS BLOG FOR SCHEDULED BOOK SIGNINGS.
